I am a professional wedding and event photographer based in New York’s Capital Region. I am also available to travel outside my home area for a reasonable cost.
I believe that photography should meet your needs at an affordable price. To help ensure that I have a pricing option that works for anyone, I offer multiple options that are fair to both my client and myself. Exact prices depend on the services and amounts of time needed, but most weddings work out to under $1000.
My most popular package consists of a flat hourly rate for photography. You are granted unlimited rights to do whatever you want with the photos and all photos are provided to you with a rating based on the quality of the images. While I provide smaller than full size images to save you space (an entire wedding shoot can take 100GB of space), full size archives are kept of all images and you can request full size copies of any images you want at any time, simply by providing the file name.
While all 5 star and most 4 star rated photos receive minimal bulk color correction, I additionally offer per-image touch up services ranging from advanced color grading and basic clean up to much more advanced touch up and blemish removal. Touch up is billed per image and again, you receive unlimited rights to the finished product.
As an alternative option, I offer a per-image option for those on a really tight budget. The per-image option consists of a very, very small hourly fee to cover basic time covering an event coupled with a higher price per image for touch up. Low quality proofs are provided and images can be ordered at a per-image price. The per-image price covers touch up in addition to the image itself, however it is higher than the normal cost of touch up with our flat rate offering. Note that the cost is per-image, not per photo and once purchased, you receive the same unlimited rights to that image as the flat rate option and can make as many copies or alterations as you’d like.
I also offer high quality, professional printing of images. I use a color calibrated, gallery quality Pixma Pro-1 printer capable of printing up to 13 by 19 inch photos. I can also work with commercial labs in the area to handle larger or more specialized orders. All printing orders include image touch up to ensure maximum quality of your prints. Multiple copies of an image are discounted after the first image since additional touch up is not needed.
Finally, while I encourage the use of a videographer to capture your wedding ceremony on video, I do offer a very basic video recording service for wedding ceremonies. For the video recording, I run an unattended, professional quality, standard definition DV video camera and create a custom, printed DVD and/or Blu-ray disc containing the ceremony video (along with a case with custom printed insert). This service is extremely basic and only intended to ensure you have some video record if no other video is being captured.
